In a Europa Press interview within the framework of the 4YFN show, the founder and CEO of Manzaning, Eva Tomàs, explained that this platform offers neighborhood stores an online sales solution to access customers who, due to lack of time, do not buy in their establishments and consume in large areas.

Tomàs explained that the ‘app’ allows buying 24 hours a day seven days a week because by text message or call. The customer can talk directly with the store and schedule their orders in one hour, receive it where you want in 60 minutes and even collect the products ordered in the establishment, and said that from 65 euros there are no shipping costs.

Currently, Manzaning collaborates with four markets. There is the Mercat de Porvençals, the Galvany, the Lesseps and the Sant Gervasi, and plans to expand its offer in two more markets during 2018, as well as to launch a new website to improve the experience of purchase: “We also want to consolidate in Madrid, where we have a pilot test and open in new cities”

He stressed that the application has already registered 16,000 downloads and has more than 9,000 users, and Tomàs has ensured that these are customers who are looking for fresh products and who appreciate the quality of the outcome of proximity, but do not have time to go shopping. , and stressed that the user profile is a woman between 30 and 45 working years and with children.

He affirmed that the application’s ‘chat’ was designed to reproduce the “live buying” experience as much as possible. The Mercat de Sant Antoni was found in September 1882. It was the work of the architect Antoni Rovira I Trias.
